JOB RULES AND TEMPLATE
Alright, so here's where the action is! It's the jobs, whether your job is catching bounties, going on police raids, sticking up an asteroid saloon, or even bigger bouts of crime. Civilians aren't as lucky when it comes to jobs like this, but they don't really need to rank up either.
Now how that works is, your character rank (bought with Woolongs, and thus experience), is sort of a reflection of your experience and moxie. It's not necessarily an in-character rank (though you could base your own ranking system off of it), but it's pretty important. Like, you could be a great bounty hunter, but if you don't have the rank, you'll be getting hit with a dry spell full of only low-pay punks, get it? Criminals too.
Also note that if you just outright fail the mission, you'll still get half of the woolongs out-of-character, so you won't be "wasting" your posts. So don't be afraid to fail a few! That can be just as fun as succeeding!
RANK ONE. Everyone starts at rank one, but don't worry, it doesn't really mean you're a rookie. All it means is your going to have a few low key jobs to fill some time, because Rank Ones can only take Rank One missions. Rank One missions fish you in a max of ₩20,000; and are naturally pretty tame. Bounty heads will be pretty criminals, who don't pose too much of a threat, and crime will be contained to small heists or paid intimidation. Nothing you have to pull the big guns out for (unless that's just your thing). And you get to make up this job, so otherwise, the sky is the limit. You need at least one other person to roleplay with you obviously, and luckily for you, at this rank, the bounty is paid in full to all those who help bring in the criminal, instead of the usual split.
Minimum post count is 8 per character.
RANK TWO. Once you get to Rank Two, things get a little more exciting. Bounties go up to ₩100,000 and you're likely to face a criminal who knows a thing or two about being a bad guy. Crime can get a bit more complicated and dangerous, and might even include the ISSP, and Syndicate people will start getting jobs that are a bit more necessary to complete, like finding and killing a spy, or someone who isn't good for business. Starting now, bounty and syndicate jobs can have the prices split between those who took part, or, if competing, go for one or the other (discuss this first though).
Minimum post count is 12 per character.
RANK THREE. Now we're at a ₩500,000, which is quite a bit of cash to throw around. This is pretty much open to your imagination now. There are some seriously dangerous criminals out there now, and you are up for some equally dangerous schemes. This rank and above are allowed to combine missions on opposing sides (but please discuss this with your rp partners first, since only one will be able to win).
Minimum post count is 20 per character.
RANK FOUR. With a max ₩2,500,000 reward! That's quite a bit of money to get all at once, even splitting it. It's an extension of three, and I definitely expect these threads to be pretty epic, and your bad guys should not go down easy in the slightest. Asking someone to NPC your antagonist a bit wouldn't be amiss here or at Rank 3.
Minimum post count is 30 per character.
RANK FIVE. What? This is the end of the line! Higher bounties than ₩2,500,000 are possible, but they're only going to be during site wide events, because we can't have dozens of ₩10,000,000 bounty heads out there can we? So you just have bragging rights for now.
