It's the year 2071, and mankind has moved onto the stars, using hyperspace gates. Since the Gate Disaster in 2021, that left the Earth in ruins, Mars has been the hubcap of humankind. But with our growing race spread out over five planets, and the Inter-Solar System Police dealing with corruption and influence from the dangerous crime syndicates plaguing the bigger cities, crime has never been so difficult to keep under control. But that's why they have cowboys.
An old-West style bounty system was set in place, listing wanted criminals with Woolong amounts depending on the severity of crime, or how badly someone wants the man caught - and a new breed of cowboy was formed, following the thrill and the money.
In a world where you can have a brand new handgun and a piece of junk space cruiser, travel from planet to planet in a matter of hours and have a showdown at Martian sunset - where do you belong?
GOTTA KNOCK A LITTLE HARDER is a non-canon roleplay set in the Cowboy Bebop universe, but without the main cast of the show. The Plot is free-forming, with the members actively participate in and drastically change the events that take place in the roleplay.
