[classy=apptitle]Personality[/classy][classy=appinfo]Outspoken and very sarcastic, Mikami considers herself in a class of her own when it comes to hacking and working through technology. A genius and very vain about it, she has a hard time believing shes made a mistake and is stubborn to apologize for them. Though at heart, she is a very sweet and caring person who has simply created this persona as a means for survival. Having grown up mostly on the street, she tends to be very street savvy and is capable of letting her cute appearance work in her favor. While she can work with a group, recent events have made her more independent.
Her loyalty is often to the people that she considers her friends, but do to her mistrust of most people, friends have become hard to come by.Yet, those that are close to her find a true friend that is willing to do anything to help them. Dedicated and strong willed, she never gives up something she starts, and is always looking for new challenges to test herself. A bit of a thrill seeker, Mikami takes risks now and then just to test her own abilities. Though this often backfires and she has to find a way to save herself.
Her caring nature, while hidden, comes out most around children. Seeing how so many struggle, she tends to feel more inclined to help them as to similar situations occuring in her own past. Though she holds very few regrets, one that remains on her mind consistantly is the fact that she fled for her life without even telling her mother. It deals many moments of guilt towards her as she is really the only child the blind woman had left. Yet, her fear of being killed by the Venus Runners make it difficult for her to return. Which is one of the reasons why she turned to bounty hunting.
Her ending goal is to one day find the idenity of the leader to the Venus Runners and get him either arrested or at least sent on the run by someone else. That way, her path to home would be much clearer.[/classy][classy=apptitle]Skills/Weapons[/classy][classy=appinfo]
Bojutsu: Mikami is a student of the Okinawan Kobudo(Old Martial arts way of Okinawan). While this style is assoicated with many different weapon uses, she prefers the Bo staff, and rarely anything else due to her lack of ability in using them. The bo staff is considered the 'king' of the Okinawa weapons, as all others exploit its weaknesses in fighting it, whereas when it is fighting them it is using its strengths against them. While going through the basic techniques such as swinging,thrusting,and striking that resemble that of empty handed fighting, it's users follow the philosophy that the staff is an extension of one's limbs.
Computer Genius: While not having much access to technology in her youth, upon joining a group of smugglers the young girl was able to learn much about computers and their inner workings. In over the course of three years, Mikami found a natural love for working with machines and became somewhat of an expert in navigating through some of the most advanced security systems and networks out there in the universe. While not always success in her hacks, she knows enough of whats she doing to come up with either a solution or a way not to get caught.

Born on Venus in 2055, Mikami is the youngest of one older brother,and is the only daughter of Hyogo Tenki and Rachel Hyogo. While they lived as a middle class family within one of the cities resting in the skies over the planet, this soon was taken away when her family was accused of embezzling money from his company. Despite many knowing of his innocence, the man was sentenced to 40 years in prison, leaving his family to fend for themselves. While her older brother and mother did their best to keep their family afloat, it soon became clear that their lives would not longer be the same as it had been before. People that had once been considered friends had turned their backs upon them, and soon the Hyogo's were forced to leave their home in the sky to live in one of the villages that rested on the surface of Venus.
Within the intense heat, Mikami learned of the cruel reality of life and that nothing was ever free. As her mother was sadly overcome by Venus sickness, the young girl of 8 found herself attempting to try and help her family by taking odd jobs with many of the passing traders. Things soon became so bad that even her older sibling had to take a job off planet to try and help. Yet, in his leave, he disappeared never to be seen again. This then left Mikami as the only one within her family capable of actually working. Knowing full well that odd jobs would not be able to cut it, she began to look for work that could provide more. This was how she ran into a group call,"The Venus Runners".
A small group of smugglers that ranged in ages of 15 to 25, they worked towards getting good off world in illegal means. Despite knowing that it was wrong, the young girl decided to join up with them, working as a decoy at first to allow her comrades the time needed to get what they needed before anyone noticed. This went on for 7 years, and Mikami soon grew in rank among the time, as did their groups' infamy. In those years she had become quite the computer hacker, moving through networks and security systems with relative ease. But one day, during one of their runs, she had managed to come across some trouble during a break into a security surveillance system. A bounty hunter had managed to trace her own signal and locate where they were. This error had cost their group a large shipment and caused much of her fellow runners to believe that she had done so on purpose.
In this, their leader saw her as a threat and decided that her service was no longer required. In their attempt to kill her, Mikami managed to hijack one of their MONO Carrier and flew it off planet, leaving her mother and the only home she ever knew in the depths of space. One year after this, Mikami has worked as a Cowboy, sending out information to the authorities under an alias and recieving small bounty rewards over criminals she helped to capture. While not living completely well off, she finds the work honest and hopes to one day return home to Venus to see her mother once again. [/classy]
